Gilson Screen's establishment includes three buildings and a total of 50,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and assembly space. We are close to major traffic arteries … US 6, US 24, I-75, and the Ohio Turnpike … which gives us access to Ohio's major cities such as Toledo, Bowling Green, Findlay, Lima, Defiance, as well as Detroit, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis.
Gilson Screen's Experience
Gilson Screen Incorporated has been in existence for more than 50 years. We date from 1961, when we were incorporated to manufacture the Gilson line of sieving, screening and sampling equipment specifically designed for the aggregate testing industry. Today we still manufacture these products and much more for Gilson Company, Inc. The equipment and expertise thus gained is now applied to custom fabrication and machining for our many other customers. We have the knowledge and skills to produce parts, as well as complete assemblies of all the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components required to produce a variety of machines.
Gilson Screen's Capabilities
Our capabilities include shearing; CNC laser cutting, CNC punching, CNC bending, CNC machining; forming; welding; robotic welding; finishing, painting, packaging and stainless steel finishing. We have the ability to laser cut and etch, shear, punch, bend, saw, torch, machine 3 and 5 axis, turn with live tooling, drill, tap, cope, weld, assemble, paint, inspect, and ship. We work with mild steel, stainless steel (including #4 finish), aluminum, and plastic. We can fabricate to your print or specifications, utilizing our design staff if necessary. Our engineers are available to visit sites of proposed projects such as mezzanines, platforms, stairways, bases, stands, custom electrical enclosures, and the like. Our engineers are available to discuss your future projects, product enhancements, part production or ideas. Our engineering staff works directly with customers, often from equipment design through finished product.
Gilson Screen's Equipment
Gilson Screen continues to invest in a wide range of capabilities and the ability to do precision work. We have invested in CNC equipment and computer technology in all facets of our work. Our engineering department uses AutoCad, SolidWorks 3D, Striker Systems Sheet Metal and SolidCam to integrate with our shop floor for laser cutting, bending, punching, 3-axis and 5-axis machining, turning Y axis live tooling and robotic welding. Our sheet metal fabrication capabilities include laser cutting, shearing, sawing, torching, punching, bending, welding, assembling, and painting. While our job shop capabilities include 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining and CNC turning including Y axis line tooling.
